3)Title: CARING AND CONSERVING : FLORA AND FAUNA   Brief description: A biodiversity conservation week will be celebrated in school where different age groups will take up following activities.   Children will be told about edible part of both Indian and foreign plants. Teaching them to grow and nurture plants. Colour, Number of legs and one interesting feature of National Animals of India and Australia.         Pictures of Indian domestic animals will be made by children (Cutting and pasting activity). Depicting the shapes of Bhutanese domestic animals through paper folding. Collecting and presenting pictures and features of three Indian and three Bhutanese plant species.     Enactment of any one Indian and one Australian animal and giving information about food habits of those animals. Clay will be used to mould the figure of one Indian and one Australian plant species.         Preparation of leaf zoos containing animals of both Indian and South African origin. 9)Title: MIGRATORY BIRDS   Brief description: The students shall learn about the migratory birds in India and two more countries out of the following- South Africa, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia. Gathering evidences about the migratory birds in India in two different seasons of the year. Students will also be asked to collect evidences about the migratory birds in two other countries The students shall develop a blog, record their findings on it. Information collected will also be shared with others through their blogs.
